Oh, these two. I have adored Rebecca and Jimmy from the moment I met them and their wedding day was beyond amazing. Rebecca has a way of paying attention to every detail, but not because she wants everything to be perfect for her, rather she wants to make the most of everything for those around her. In a similar fashion, Jimmy has an understated way of taking care of those he loves simply because it makes him happy. Their warm, kind hearts, and love for each other and their loved ones, make it so easy for someone to feel like they have been friends with them forever – they have made me feel like one of the group since day one (their engagement session at Glenwood Gardens was one for the books, too).
Rebecca’s attention to detail when it comes to those she loves came in handy when planning the wedding. A few weeks before the wedding, an excited email came through from her explaining an elaborate plan to trick Jimmy into a secret first look location – Great American Ball Park! Rebecca knew Jimmy’s love for the Red’s stadium, and couldn’t wait to surprise her future Mr. with this amazing locale. The surprise went off without hitch, and the rest of the day was perfect. Their sweet pup, Lilly, made an appearance during portraits, and then they said “I do” under twinkly lights at Rhinegeist Brewery downtown before dancing the night away. R&J – I’m thrilled for you guys and your new lives together. Congrats, you two! xoxo
