You’ll recognize this sweet couple from a wedding I shot in June, as they were a bridesmaid and groomsman in Ashley & Jordan’s Denver wedding. Jarod is Ashley’s brother, so this family holds a special place in my heart. When Megan reached out to me to photograph their wedding, I was beyond thrilled! From the moment we sat down to coffee, I couldn’t wait to be their photographer. They are both so sweet and kind, and the way they look at each other is just perfect.
Megan and Jarod met through a mutual friend in Lexington, where Megan was living at the time, but Jarod was living here in Cincinnati. After doing the long distance thing for a few months, Megan took a job in Cincinnati finally bringing the pair together. Over a weekend trip to Denver to visit Jarod’s sister, they hiked to the top of Mt. Evans, and Jarod dropped down on one knee at sunset to ask Megan to spend her life with him!
Their wedding day was perfect in so many ways, but the most noticeable to everyone was the perfect weather. It was the first wedding of the official fall season for me, and the air was crisp and cool. On top of that, there was so much love surrounding Megan and Jarod all day, and their love for each other was the sweetest part. I’m so excited to share more of their wedding! Congrats and love M & J!
