They went to the same college, they were both even in greek life and had tons of mutual friends, but Grace and Alex had never met. Instead, serendipitously, they met online – the universe knew before they did. They had their first date at the Newport Aquarium, and during her maid of honor speech, one of Grace’s sisters described her as “the happiest she’d ever seen her” that night when she got home…it was the beginning of something so beautiful. Fast forward a few years and Alex talked Grace into going to Newport under the guise of riding bikes on the riverfront. Instead, he dropped down to one knee in front of the Newport Aquarium, where they had their first date, in front of her closest friends, and asked her to spend forever with him. He took it a step farther and surprised her with an engagement party as an end to their perfect night!
Their wedding day was amazing! It’s no secret that it rained (thank you so much leftover hurricane rain 🙂 ), and their power went out at their reception because of it, but no two people were better suited to roll with the punches like Grace and Alex! They are the sweetest and most fun loving couple, and I can’t imagine spending the day with anyone else. They were married at the Cincinnati Art Museum in the most beautiful ceremony, and then their friends and family came together to make their night one to remember. I’m so excited to share more of their wedding day!! Congrats G & A – I’m so happy for you two! xo
