Valentines Day, 2011. Olivia and Jake were juniors in high school and that was their first date. Jake had moved back to Ohio after living in Florida for a while, and he and Olivia have been inseparable ever since. They’ve been through the rest of high school, undergrad at Ohio State, dental school for Jake and the audiology program for Olivia, a trip through Europe, and planning a wedding together, and now they get to start on their next great adventure – marriage. They said their vows at the Holy Cross Immaculata in Mt. Adams, and then had a blast at their Monastery Event Center reception!
Rachel was the sweetest, kindest soul I’d ever met, and as I got to know her, she said more than once that she “has such a crush” on her soon-to-be hubby, Eric. The pair had their first date at Aglemesis, an adorable old fashioned ice cream shop, and they’ve been inseparable ever since. They chose Music Hall as the backdrop for their ceremony and reception, and as the venue itself just underwent a major renovation, Rachel and Eric were the first to be married in the newly renovated, and absolutely gorgeous, space! As a nod to their first date, Rachel and Eric also decided to do their first look at Aglemesis, and it was perfect!

Photographing their wedding at Unico 2087 Hotel and Resort in Riviera Maya, Mexico was like dream. Catherine and Zach have impeccable taste, and treating their guests to a good time while there was important to them. The picturesque, tropical landscape served as the relaxing spot for their 60-some guests, and not only was the resort absolutely perfect, I was treated like family. Their family and friends were so welcoming and loving, and the day of the wedding came and went like a breeze. It was a sweet, emotion-filled day with tears from everyone and it was the perfect day!

Amy and Jeff are two of the sweetest, kindest people I’ve ever met. So loving and attentive towards each other, they have a way of looking at each other and making you feel like they are the only two in the room. They were married at St. Aloysius Chapel and had a beautiful reception at Cincinnati Art Museum filled to the brim with people they love from all over the world – including family all the way from China. It was an absolute honor to photograph their wedding!

Korey was Roseanna’s first ever crush. When she was 9 and he was 13, she saw him at a birthday party and feeling those little butterflies of nerves because THE boy was there…the boy she knew even at 9 years old that she wanted to marry. Five years ago, Korey asked her on a date and the pair has been inseparable ever since. They built a life together and then decided to build a home, and on Rose’s birthday within the framework of their new home, Korey gave her a music box – it played the Irish Blessing song as she opened it to find a beautiful diamond ring and Korey asking her to marry him!

After months of running into each other on campus, having class together, and studying together, Sean asked Sarah to the Navy ball – they were officially a couple. A few years later, and Sean proposed in the picturesque mountains of Utah! For their wedding day, the small town of Ashfield, Massachusetts was the perfect setting. Across the street from where Sean grew up. Gloriosa & Co. is quintessential New England with a beautiful stone wall out front, a huge barn with a weather-main on top, and quaint details at every turn. Sarah and Sean had emotion-filled handwritten vows, the sweetest family and friends, and their day couldn’t have been full of more love.
